How do we start to understands or recognize ourselves, what are our heart desires the most, what are our talents? I think when we start to truly believe in it, instead of getting bored, it will give us satisfaction.

Mattia Nizzardo was born in Piove Di Sacco October 1st 1987.
Since he was a teenager he show a passion for photography, with a simple camera of his mother, he took pictures of relatives and then gave them something that would last forever.
His art blood probably flows from his parents Isabella, who has passionate about paintings and photography, and his father Vincenzo, a blacksmith who made iron as art, his work spread worldwide.
He graduated from scientific high school and instead of following footsteps of his peers who went to university, he decided that his university would be the world.
In 2006 he went to “collage “for the first time, he went to Australia, through a thousand adventures, doing the humblest jobs, like cleaning public toilets and working on farms for a few dollars an hour.
The city of Mildura open his eyes for the very first time to take photography as a serious hobby.
Australian desert the breathtaking starry sky and its most unique sun sets encourage him to start to shooting.
Then in 2008, after years later, during his trip Malaysian Boneo he decided to take the step and bought his first real camera, the D60, from then on the passion never stopped, like love at first sight.
In his various travels, among the smiles of Southeast Asia, volunteering in Africa, the parks in America, he has been able to improve his technique and imagination.
In 2009 he decided to make Indonesia his home.
Indonesia is home of diversity, everything is a variety that makes it beautiful.
He doesn’t want to miss a moment to capture all that beautiful diversity, so he always has a camera with him whenever he travels.
In 2013 he joined volunteering program for orphanages in Tanzania for three months, “forever angels”, in the city of Mwanza.
This experience, so different from everything he had done so far, filled his heart and his personal baggage.
“I went to Tanzania with the idea of helping the children, but in the end they helped me”.
This trip gave him the opportunity to travel around Africa, through the real life of the African desert and its culture.
In 2015, a journey that marked his life, the journey to Burma, the country of Light, it was light just everywhere, perfect to improve the skill.
Leaving without expectations, he travels from north to south, he found himself in front of unique place in the world as the pagodas of Yangon, the temples of Bagan and the monks of Mandalay on the banks of the river Irrawaddy.
Country crossed by many wars, with a strong entity and a unparalleled faith.
“I didn’t know what I would expect from this trip, but it took me one day to fall in love”.
In 2017, on the occasion of his parents’ 40th wedding anniversary, the whole family went to Peru, a dream come true.
The fact of having made a family trip was not limiting but it was a further leap in quality and awareness of seizing all the opportunities.
It has been possible to get in touch with the culture of the local families and in terms of culture, Peru has nothing to envy to anyone.
From then he starts to regularly do photography traveling, he travel and archive them in his camera.
After some travels and some course around the world, he decide to take some private lessons with Alberto Ghizzi Panizza, a step to learn better technique.
In 2020 he published his first book “101 heart of Flores”.
This book is about Flores island, he lives here since 2010, is about its people, natures, arts, folklores and its reality.
After fourteen years of experiences, the book “101 heart of Flores” was his debut, the goal is launch more books and have his own photography exhibition.

Come iniziamo a capire o riconoscere noi stessi, quali sono i desideri del nostro cuore, quali sono i nostri talenti? Penso che quando iniziamo a crederci veramente, invece di annoiarci, avremmo soddisfazione.

Mattia Nizzardo è nato a Piove Di Sacco il 1 ottobre 1987.
Fin da adolescente denota passione verso la fotografia.
Con una semplice macchina fotografica di sua madre, fotografa i diversi parenti, per poi regalare loro qualcosa che sarebbe rimasto nel tempo.
Il sangue artistico che gli scorre nelle vene proviene probabilmente dai suoi genitori. Isabella, appassionata di pittura e fotografia, e suo padre Vincenzo, un fabbro che ha fatto del ferro un’arte, il cui lavoro si è diffuso in tutto il mondo.
Terminato il liceo scientifico invece di seguire le orme dei suoi coetanei che si iscrivevano all’università, decide che la sua università sarebbe stata il mondo.
Nel 2006 frequentò per la prima volta il “college” in Australia, affrontò mille avventure, facendo i lavori più umili, come pulire i bagni pubblici e lavorare nelle fattorie per pochissimi dollari all’ora.
La città di Mildura gli aprì gli occhi per la prima volta prese in considerazione di fare della fotografia un hobby serio.
ll deserto australiano, il cielo stellato mozzafiato ei suoi tramonti unici, lo incoraggiarono ad iniziare qualcosa di più grande.
Poi nel 2008, a distanza di anni, durante il suo viaggio nel Borneo Malese decise di fare il passo e acquistò la sua prima vera macchina fotografica, la D60, da quel momento in poi la passione non si è mai fermata, come l’amore a prima vista.
Nei suoi numerosi viaggi, attraverso i sorrisi del sud-est asiatico, il volontariato in Africa ed i parchi in America, ha saputo affinare tecnica e fantasia.
Nel 2009 ha deciso di fare dell’Indonesia la sua casa.
L’Indonesia è la patria della diversità, tutto è una varietà che la rende bella.
Egli non vuole perdere l’occasione di catturare tutta quella bella diversità; quindi, ha sempre una macchina fotografica con sé ogni volta che viaggia.
Nel 2013 entrò a far parte per tre mesi del programma di volontariato “forever angels” in un orfanotrofio nella città di Mwanza, in Tanzania.
Quell’esperienza così diversa da tutto quello che aveva fatto fino ad allora, gli ha riempito il cuore ed ha arricchito il suo bagaglio personale.
”Sono andato in Tanzania con l’idea di aiutare i bambini, ma alla fine sono stati loro ad aver aiutato me”.
Quel viaggio gli diede pure l’opportunità di viaggiare in Africa, per sperimentare la vita reale del deserto africano e la cultura africana.
Nel 2015 un viaggio che gli ha segnato la vita, il viaggio in Birmania, il paese della Luce, vi era luce un po’ ovunque, perfetta per migliorare le sue tecniche fotografiche.
Partito senza aspettative, viaggiò da nord a sud, si trovò davanti a posti unici al mondo come le pagode di Yangon, i templi di Bagan ed i monaci di Mandalay sulla riva del fiume Irrawaddy.
Popolo attraversato da molte guerre, con un’entità forte e una fede senza eguali.
“Non sapevo cosa mi sarei dovuto aspettare da questo viaggio, ma mi è bastato un giorno per innamorarmi”.
Nel 2017, in occasione del 40° anniversario di matrimonio dei suoi genitori, tutta la famiglia si recò in Perù, un sogno diventato realtà.
L’aver intrapreso un viaggio familiare non è stato limitante, bensì un ulteriore salto di qualità e di consapevolezza per cogliere tutte le occasioni.
È stato possibile entrare in contatto con la cultura delle famiglie del posto ed a livello di cultura, il Perù non ha niente da invidiare a nessun altra civiltà.
Egli da allora inizia a fare regolarmente “fotografie di viaggi”, viaggia e archivia nella sua macchina fotografica.
Dopo alcuni viaggi e qualche corso in giro per il mondo, decide di prendere delle lezioni private con Alberto Ghizzi Panizza, un passo per imparare meglio la tecnica.
Nel 2020 ha pubblicato il suo primo libro “101 Hearts of Flores”.
Questo libro parla della gente, della natura, delle arti, del folklore e delle realtà dell’isola di Flores, luogo in cui egli vive dal 2010. Dopo quattordici anni di esperienza, il libro “101 Hearts of Flores” ha segnato il suo debutto. L’obiettivo è di pubblicare altri libri nonché di poter allestire una propria mostra fotografica.
Il tempo stringe è limitato ma la fantasia va oltre.
